Learning at Scale - YouTube Certification
Situation
YouTube Certificate Program was only in English and did not address the needs of companies on the platform. Avadi was tasked to expand the program’s content and make it available in more languages.
Approach
Working with the Creator Education Team, Avadi Leaders developed new modules and translated the entire program into five languages. We created culturally relevant digital content (videos, lessons, assessments, local examples) for the online and classroom versions of the YouTube Certification Program. We localized it to Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French to reach new markets.
Outcome
The program invigorated the ecosystem to support new businesses in growth markets. In the first six months, YouTube Certified reached 936 new brands on the platform and certified 3.3K individual content creators.
